The impact of honoring my ancestors took me by surprise. It’s really a very simple thing to do that can have a HUGE impact.
Here’s what happened to me
I created a ritual of opening my feet every day and as I was rolling the golf ball on the bottoms of my feet or stretching my feet open, I honored my grandparents, great-grandparents and all the others whose walk I stepped into.
I didn’t really think too much about it but as I did my little daily practice (that only took me about 10-minutes for about two weeks, btw) — I began to notice the pain I’d had in my right big toe knuckle was gone.
This was no small thing
I’d suffered from that pain for about 10-years. During that time there were moments I walked with a limp and couldn’t hike at all.
I also began to notice that my eczema disappeared. I had struggled with eczema on my hands for over 15-years. And it completely cleared up.
If that wasn’t enough — I stopped having chronic mouth sores.
What the heck?
Well, I knew that my right big toe knuckle represented my heart and loving others. I was also aware that my grandmother on my Dad’s side suffered from heart disease so all that made sense.
But my autoimmune disorders clearing up? I looked those up and autoimmune disorders are related to love issues. That made sense.
So, loving on my ancestors for just a few minutes a day helped my physical body heal. So amazing!!
